About This Race

Join Girls on the Run for our Fall 2026 season 5K as our 15-year anniversary celebration continues!  Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. Completing the 5K gives the girls a tangible understanding of the confidence that comes through accomplishment as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. Crossing the finish line is a defining moment when the girls realize that even the seemingly impossible IS possible. This event is open to the public—all are welcome to join!  No pets allowed. Only leashed service animals are permitted in the Race Village and on the course. Event Date: Sunday, November 15, 2026 9:00am start time Event Location: Mission County Park 6030 Padre Dr,  San Antonio TX  78214 Event Fees: 5K Run/Walk - $35, $40 starting October 26, $45 on race day. No Refunds. Awards: Overall M&F Winners + M&F Masters, 10 Year Age Groups for first 3 M&F Overall  winner awards will be based on gun time.
