Lions on the Leon Captain "D" Dash for "Sight" 5K Run/Walk

About This Race

- hosted by the Belton Lions Club! The run/walk will begin at 8:30am, starting at the Lions Pavilion, proceeding out and down Park Avenue, returning along Park Avenue to the trail around the baseball fields and along the Leon River; ending at Lions Pavilion.  There will be four (4) water stations; and race snacks on return. Race Snacks and Hot Dogs after the Run. This is a timed event, with timing by Pro-Fit Race Timing.  Award Categories: Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and the top three male/female finishers in each age group. No duplicate awards. Age groups: 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+. Costume Awards – Four (4) Awards (President’s Choice) Every registered 5K participant will receive: Swag “Pirate’s Booty” Bag, a Bib Raffle Entry, Custom Spinner Race Medal and/or Event Sunglasses (while supplies last)
