It’s the kind of encouragement many of us grew up hearing from a parent, grandparent, teacher, or friend—a reminder that when an opportunity comes your way, you have to be ready to take it. That spirit is at the heart of Firme DFW’s mission: helping first-generation students put their “batteries in” by providing the scholarships, mentorship, and support they need to pursue their goals, build a better future, and make an impact in their communities.
