🎄 The 3rd Annual Active Texan Tinsel Trot Saturday, December 5, 2026 | Lake Walk | Bryan, Texas Get ready to lace up, light up, and run into the holidays at the 3rd Annual Active Texan Tinsel Trot—a festive evening 5K, 10K, and 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run at beautiful Lake Walk! Grab your friends, family, running club, team, or coworkers and join us for a fun holiday race as the sun sets over Lake Walk. Whether you're racing for a PR, walking with the family, or simply looking for a great way to kick off the holiday season, the Tinsel Trot is designed for everyone. This year's race is being held in conjunction with the Lake Walk Holiday Night Bazaar, making it an entire evening of holiday fun. Stick around before and after the race to enjoy local vendors, holiday shopping, live entertainment, festive activities, and the holiday atmosphere throughout Lake Walk. The race finishes on The Green by the Lake Walk Pavilion, right in the middle of the Holiday Night Bazaar celebration. Race Day Details Date: Saturday, December 5, 2026 Location: Lake Walk Pavilion | Bryan, TX 4:30 PM – 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run 5:00 PM – 10K Start 5:05 PM – 5K Start The 5K and 10K will be professionally chip timed. 🏅 Finisher Swag & Awards 5K & 10K participants receive: Official Active Texan Tinsel Trot race shirt Finisher medal Sponsor swag 1-Mile Kids/Family Fun Run participants receive: Fun Run finisher medal 🏆 Awards will be presented to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female finishers in both the 5K and 10K. There are no age-group awards. The 1-Mile Fun Run is not chip timed and does not include a race shirt. ✨ Light Up the Course For 10K participants, a headlamp is highly recommended since portions of the race will take place after dark. The majority of the course is well lit by streetlights, and we'll also have glow sticks and bracelets available for participants to help keep things merry and bright. Holiday costumes, lights, and festive spirit are highly encouraged! Make an Evening of It Don't just come for the race—make a night of it! The Lake Walk Holiday Night Bazaar will be happening alongside the Tinsel Trot, bringing together holiday shopping, local vendors, entertainment, and family-friendly festivities throughout Lake Walk. Run your race, celebrate your finish, and then enjoy everything the Holiday Night Bazaar has to offer.
