Alamo City XC Halloween Meet Run Fast. Have Fun. Celebrate Halloween! Get ready for a spooktacular morning of cross-country racing at the 2026 Alamo City XC Halloween Meet! Young athletes, competitive runners, families, and members of the San Antonio running community are invited to the Jim Reed Walking Trail for a fun-filled morning of racing and Halloween excitement. The Alamo City XC Halloween Meet gives runners of all experience levels an opportunity to challenge themselves in a true cross-country atmosphere. Alamo City Track Club emphasizes age-appropriate development, hard work, integrity, sportsmanship, and helping every athlete reach their full potential. This event is about more than finishing times—it is about competition, confidence, community, family, and fun! Race Distances Racing begins at 7:15 AM, with rolling starts throughout the morning. 8 & Under: 1 Mile Ages 9–14: 2 Miles Ages 15 & Up: 5K Awards and Race Swag Awards will be presented to the top three finishers in each of the following age groups: 8 & Under Ages 9–10 Ages 11–12 Ages 13–14 Ages 15–16 Ages 17–18 Every race registration includes: Participation medal Event T-shirt Runners, families, and spectators are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes!
