Forward 5K/Walk (Stronger Together Encouraging Powerful Souls) — a powerful community event honoring breast cancer warriors, celebrating survivors, and raising awareness in Laredo and Webb County. This upgraded annual 5K/Walk brings together families, friends, and supporters for a morning filled with unity, strength, and hope. Whether you’re running to beat your best time, walking in memory of a loved one, or standing in solidarity with survivors, every step makes a difference. Funds raised through this event directly support the Stronger Together Breast Cancer Foundation’s programs, including: The Nourishing Warriors Program, which provides food, care packages, and survivor support. Transportation vouchers and the long-term goal of a dedicated patient vehicle for those needing rides to chemotherapy and radiation. Emergency financial relief and early detection screenings for underserved patients.   Why We Walk Breast cancer is still the most common cancer among women in the U.S., and Webb County faces higher-than-average mortality rates due to limited access to care.
