Lace up and show up. The SHEATH race is back — and this year we've gone bigger, adding a 10K for anyone ready to push past their limits. Whatever your pace, shape, or size, this is your race. Chase a new PR, walk it with your crew, or just come out to move, sweat, and celebrate what your body can do. Every level belongs on this start line. SHEATH Underwear is a veteran-owned, family-run activewear company built on one simple idea: when you feel good, you perform better. We're bringing that philosophy off the shelf and onto the course — a morning of miles, music, food, and community, powered by the strength inside everyone who shows up. Race Details Distances: 5K (3.1 mi) & 10K (6.2 mi) Date: 11.07.2026 Location: Martin Luther King Park — 3503 Martin Luther King Dr, San Antonio, TX 78220 Timing: Professionally timed by IAAP Course map: TBA Water stations: TBA What You'll Earn: The first 150 runners receive an official SHEATH race T-shirt and finisher medal Cash prizes for the podium in both the 5K & 10K — Top 3 Male & Top 3 Female: 1st — $250 | 2nd — $150 | 3rd — $100 Packet & Bib Pickup: Bib pickup is at the park pavilion the morning of the race, 7:00–8:00 AM. Arrive early, grab your bib, warm up, and soak in the pre-race energy before the gun goes off. After the Finish: The finish line is just the start of the fun. Stick around for games, prizes, food, and a post-race celebration built for the whole family. Refuel, swap stories, and stay a while — you earned it. Vendors: Local vendors TBA — check back for the full lineup. Rain or Shine: This is a rain-or-shine event — but your safety comes first. If thunder or lightning rolls in, we'll hold the start and reassess in 30-minute windows (up to one hour total) until conditions are safe. We'll post any updates on-site and across our social channels on race day.
